We are looking for a  PHP Software Engineer to join our SaaS and WordPress development team. Who will be responsible for developing and maintaining custom web applications built on WordPress/Laravel Framework . The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in software development, with a focus on backend technologies.

What we’re looking for?

• The candidate should have strong experience in building scalable and resilient backend systems. They should be familiar with software development methodologies like Agile, Scrum, or Kanban.
• The candidate should be proficient in at least one programming language, such as PHP/Laravel as well as strong knowledge of OOP-based Design Patterns and PHP software architectures.
• 3+ years of experience in PHP, Laravel development
• Strong familiarity with JavaScript (vanilla JS, ES6, etc), CSS (SCSS, CSS, etc.) and HTML.Familiar with how emails work (raw email structure, SMTP protocol, spam filters, etc).
• Knowledge of versioning tools, e.g., Git, SVN
• Ability to integrate 3rd party services, ex: different types of Auth, CRM, Email listing APIs, Payment gateways, etc.
• Knowledge of common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, Instagram, etc) integration
• The candidate should have a strong understanding of database technologies such as SQL, and NoSQL databases.
• The strong mentality to develop enterprise-level applications in the SaaS platform.
• Experience in React.js
• Experience with Front-end development will be a plus.
• Experiences in System Design will get priority.
• Knowledge of DevOps will be a plus.
• Experience with Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, and Microservices will be a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Fluent in English.

Educational Requirements:

• Preferably CSE Background.
• Educational qualifications may be relaxed in the case of an exceptionally experienced candidate. We prefer skill over degree.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom web applications built on the PHP Laravel framework and React.js
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code
• Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze user needs, and design solutions
• Perform unit testing and debugging to identify and fix errors and improve application performance
• Work with the team to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development and integrate them into our applications
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers
